Musical Medicine..... tracks that give you a shot in the dark, even when your legless
Electronic - 'Getting Away With It' (1989)
In light of the news from the courts in South Africa this week it reminded me of a great track from the very late 80's. The band was essentially Bernard Sumner (New Order) & Johnny Marr (The Smiths) with a few friends. This track featured Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys) on backing vocals and I for one bloody loved it...

ReplyWell you may say that this one kind of describes Old Pa.But that depends upon which side of the fence you sit. OSSKAAR PISSTOREUS you are a lyar!
ReplyIt's a little known fact, but I'm not a big fan of New Order. They and I parted company after the first couple of albums. I do enjoy the odd Electronic tune though. Johnny must've brought out the best in Bernard. 'Forbidden City' is a gem, but 'Getting Away With It' is none too shabby either.
