The Lawsuits - In Deep With The Queen

TUESDAY BLUES

Do you like Singer/Songwriters, or do you have a unhealthy affection to the sadness, if so you may have a case of the Tuesday Blues!

...We use Head & Shoulders.....

The Lawsuits - In Deep With The Queen

Sometimes it can be the smallest things that 'hook' you.  Take In Deep With The Queen. When I first heard the buzzing crickets, bugs etc at the beginning of the track, it picked up my ears.  It sounds like you're out on the porch with them on a warm evening, having a few beers and possibly staring at the Stars.

The Lawsuits are a four-piece from Philadelphia and they have just released their second album, Cool, Cool, Cool.  They are a melting pot of ideas and without burdening them, they remind me of how The Beatles would combine various genres on to their albums.  Indie-Folk-Americana, with hints of Conor Oberst and Wilco.  I really recommend you checking out their latest - it is cool!

If you are a fan of Men with Beards, like the gentle stroking of a six-string, or just a miserable bugger, Subscribe to our Spotify playlist and read more Tuesday Blues here!

The Album has more 'Beatle-esq' styles. It is worth checking them out

What a lovely image, I could just be there now on one of those big swinging seats on a porch on a balmy evening. Nice little song

A lovely tune and evocative as you say, complete with Mark Knophler-esque guitar work!
