Foster the People - 'Pumped up Kicks' (2011)

Buff and healthy American 3 piece inject some much needed Californian sunshine to an otherwise miserable June. It has this real late afternoon, summery feel to it, if you know what I mean. I thought this track sounded like the Eels....but anyway, with it's great vibe and catchy chorus it will have you hooked in no time. Which is probably due to the fact that vocalist, Mark Foster, used to work on commercial jingles before forming the band. Job done!

Please note there are clouds in the surfing scene...ha gutted!
