KEITH RICHARDS - Girl from the North Country
Keith Richards is no stranger when it comes to Bob, remember that liaison at the 'Live aid' Concert in 1985, I always remember that it was somewhat a bit of a disaster but after re-watching it, well I actually quite enjoyed it. Click on 'Live aid', what do you think?.
These couple of tracks are taken from an album called 'Keith plays his favourites' and appears to be outtakes from the sessions for 'Voodoo Lounge'. All I can say is that they are 'interesting' but worth a listen.
I was more than pleasantly surprised with Keith's first solo album 'Talk is Cheap' (1988) it is far far better than anything Mick Jagger has attempted on his own and if you can get hold of it, you may be pleasantly surprised..

Tulis commentsWhat can you say? I never knew they had Google Street View on the days of the silent movies!
ReplyHa Ha Ha!
ReplyMr the Bear...that is funny! But I really like this version.
ReplyWasn't that Live Aid performance on July 1985?
ReplySecond song isn't Dylan's John Wesley Harding. It's an old Carter family song.
ReplyHey cool my little video has made it to another site. I would really like to find Keith's cover of John Wesley Hardin. This footage was shot in Sicily and made to look old with Windows Movie Maker.
ReplyPepper
This cover was from some Voodoo Lounge sessions I understand.
